Compounding Lab Tour - Capsules

Capsule Machine SMCP has extensive training and experience in the compounding of capsules. Our state-of-the-art equipment helps to ensure that all capsules are packed with extreme reliability.

Using a Jansun capsule machine and vibrator we:

separate the tops from the bottoms
place the powder (active and inactive ingredients) on the machine
using the vibrator and tamper all capsules are filled and packed tightly
once the capsules are full the capsule tops are attached the capsule bottoms
a quick polishing and the capsules are ready to dispense to the patient

All capsules are packed full to the top to ensure an even distribution of the active ingredients throughout the entire batch.

We can compound virtually any strength or combination of ingredients. We also have the ability to make a sustained release capsule where that need is applicable.
